NORMAN McDONALD CEMETERY
Surveyed by Woodford Sherrill and Jack Ingram

Take #220 north of Rockingham, turn left on Sandy Ridge Church Rd. Continue down this road and then
turn left on Oak Ridge Trail, which is a long one lane dirt road. Pass the Covington Cemetery and continue
going straight for possibly a mile. The cemetery is on the right in the woods. It was cleaned up some time
ago, and excess pine straw and limbs removed from around the graves. The two graves are in a line flanked
on either side by crosses, the same size as the gravestones. No one has been buried here in over 100 years.
