Too bad. .... Cold, for goodness sakequot;.

(Hubert and an unknown room-mate were asphyxiated, while in bed asleep, by gas in a hotel or boarding 
house. This happened somewhere in Washington, DC.)

For many years Carrie operated a boarding house on Everette Street in Laurinburg.  Carrie died at 
Scotland Memorial Hosp. where she had been a patient for 10 days.  She sustained a broken hip in a
