To all to whom these presents shall come greeting.
Know ye that we for and in consideration of the sum
of ten pounds for every hundred acres hereby granted
paid into our treasury by William Murry have given
and granted and by these presents do give and grant
unto the said William Murry a tract of land
containing two hundred acres lying and being in
County of Rutherford on the south fork of Chubb
Creek, beginning at a red oak of the south side of
said creek, thence west eighty poles crossing said
creek to a red oak Caldwell line, thence south
seventy west eighty poles to a stake then ??? line
south thirty two west one hundred and fourteen poles
to a chestnut saplin, thence south fortynine poles
crossing the creek to a stake thence east two
hundred and fifteen poles to a stake and from thence
to the beginning
