March the 8th 1808 No. 226
This Indenture made this 13th day of March in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seven between Isham Weathers & John McMory both of
the County of Rutherford State of North Carolina,
Witnesseth that the said Isham Weathers for the
Consideration of the sum of thirty pounds to him in
hand paid before the sealing of these presents and
Delivering the receipt and payment whereof the said
Isham Weathers Doth hereby acknowledge the said
Weathers doth bargain sell and deliver & confirm &
do by these presents convey & confirm John McMory
his heirs and assigns forever all that tract of land
situate and being in the County of Rutherford on the
west side of first Broad River on the south side of
the long branch beginning containing thirty acres of
land be the same more or less the said Wealthers
doth warrant and defend unto said McMorey the said
land & premises from all rights or titles or claim
or claims whatever against any person or persons
unto said McMory his heirs and assigns forever for
