Copies of the pages from the Frederick M. Wynn Family Bible were contributed by Carole D. Haywood. The entries have been transcribed here exactly as they appear on the copies, however the order of the Marriage, Birth and Death entries may differ from that in the Bible. This bible was published in 1846. The handwriting is the same for all entries up to 1856, presumably the year that Frederick M. Wynn died since the estate records of Tyrrell County contain papers for Frederick Wynne in 1856. His second wife, Caroline, remarried in 1856 to Isaac H. Davenport and the bible came down through the Davenport family with additional entries made by them.

Guilford L. Davenport and Susan E. Cooper was Married Tuesday Sept. 20th A.D. 1881.
Guilford L. Davenport and Sallie Cherry was married March 29th 1910 4 O'clock in P.M. at the Cupola House, Edenton N.C.
