1869 Poll Tax Exemptions

The following information was transcribed by James Miller on September 19, 1986, from the\u00a0Minute Docket Book of the Alexander County Board of Commissioners which can be found in the\u00a0Register of Deeds Office in the Alexander County courthouse.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

The following list of individuals were exempted from paying Poll Tax because of disabilities, some of which may have been\u00a0from injuries received during the Civil War.<\/p>\n
