Location: This cemetery is located near the Goose Creek State Park Office, Washington, NC.  There are only three marked graves in this cemetery.  In a 1981 survey it is said that there were the remains of wooden head and foot boards but none were found in 2010.

Alligood, Martha E.	Dec. 23, 1867	Aug. 28, 1907	Blessed are they who die in the Lord.  They cease from their labours and their works do follow them.
Alligood, Sophia A.	Aug. 20, 1851	May 8, 1912	Wife of Ivy Alligood; Let each loss that makes earth dreary make the hope of heaven more dear.

Notes:  (1) 1880 United States Federal Census, Long Acre Township, Beaufort Co., NC, pg. 73 D dtd 25 June 1880, listed as Ivey Alligood, age 46, farmer, hd of hhd #394-394 with wife Sophia A. age 29 keeping house and children Martha E. age 11 at home, Fenner M. age 11 at home, Ida Jane age 6 at home.
                 (2) 1900 United States Federal Census, Long Acre Township, Beaufort Co., NC, pg. 92 A, dtd 30 June 1900, listed as Ivey Alligood, age 65, farmer, hd of hhd #480-480 with wife Sophia A. age 48, children Martha age 29 (born Jan 1871), Ider age 24, Ira J. age 16; brother John Alligood age 44.
                 (3) 1910 United States Federal Census, Long Acre Township, Beaufort Co., NC, pg. 105 B, dtd 20 May 1910, listed as Ivey Alligood, age 75, hd of hhd #325-327 with wife Sophia A. age 58, children Ida J. age 32, Ira J. age 26 and lodger John A. Congleton age 54.
