Gillespie was born April 05, 1774 in Golden Grove, Duplin County, NC, and died
September 28, 1829 in Gillis, Bladen County, NC. Sarah Streety was born
March 1, 1782 and died November 29, 1847 in Bladen County, NC. (This
information taken from “Descendents of David Gillespie”).

7. George Street Gillespie-1811-1865. Married Elizabeth 'Eliza' Coddington Robeson 6/21/1843.
8. Ann Clopton Gillespie-1813-1862. Married James Gillespie Dickson on 4/14/1835.
9. David Brison Gillespie-1815-1905. Married Sarah Ann Davis-1821-1904 on 11/20/1844.
10. Albert Gillespie-1817-1850. Married Caroline F. Jones.
11. Sarah Gillespie-1820-1887. Married David Flowers on 12/12/1843.

When he died, his wife, Susan, inherited them.
