September 29, 1823<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of God Amen! I\u00a0DEMPSEY HARRISON<\/strong>\u00a0being weak in body yet of disposing mind & memory blessed be God for the same do make & ordain this my Last Will and Testament this Twenty Ninth day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred & Twenty Three in the following manner & form viz.<\/span><\/p>\n

I give and bequeath unto my loving Wife\u00a0NANCY HARRISON<\/strong>\u00a0all my right & title in negro man Denson(?) also all my property of every description & kind whatever unto her & her heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lastly I nominate & appoint my loving Wife\u00a0NANCY HARRISON<\/strong>\u00a0Executrix to this my Last Will and Testament in witness where of I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day and year first above written.<\/span><\/p>\n

This Last Will & Testament of\u00a0DEMSEY HARRISON<\/strong>\u00a0dec\u2019d was exhibited and proved in open Court by the oaths of W. McPHERSON<\/strong> & JESSE OVERTON<\/strong> subscribing witnesses thereto. And NANCY HARRISON<\/strong> the Executrix therein named app\u2019d & qualified agreeably to Law. Ordered that the Will be recorded & letters Testamentary issue<\/span><\/p>\n
