March 5, 1817<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of God Amen ! I\u00a0SUSAN GREGORY<\/strong>\u00a0of the County of Camden in the State of N. Carolina do this 5th<\/sup>\u00a0day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred & Seventeen make publish, pronounce and declare this instrument of writing to be my Last Will and Testament in manner as follows.<\/span><\/p>\n

Item. I give & bequeath to my Daughters\u00a0SALLY WALKER<\/strong>,\u00a0JANE\u00a0GOFREY<\/strong>, and\u00a0LYDIA FOREHANDS<\/strong>\u00a0children & CHLOE JARVIS, and CELEY MITCHEL & Son\u00a0JAMES M. GREGORY<\/strong>\u00a0all my property and estate which I have gained & accumulated since the death of my Husband\u00a0NATHAN GREGORY<\/strong>\u00a0to be equally divided between them to them & their heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

I nominate & appoint my Son\u00a0JAMES M. GREGORY<\/strong>\u00a0my executor to this my Last Will & Testament in witness whereof I the said\u00a0SUSAN GREGORY<\/strong>\u00a0have hereunto set my hand and seal the day & year above written etc.<\/span><\/p>\n
