Know all men that I\u00a0<strong>LYDIA GRANDY<\/strong>\u00a0of the County of Camden &amp; State of North Carolina being in a poor state of health but in sound memory do make this my Last Will &amp; Testament.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. I give &amp; bequeath to my Son\u00a0<strong>CALEB GRANDY\u00a0<\/strong>my part of two negro girls that was sold, named Channy &amp; Cloe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">I give &amp; bequeath to my Son\u00a0<strong>CALEB GRANDY<\/strong>\u00a0all my cattle, that has come since his Father\u2019s death &amp; likewise all my sheep and three stocks of Bees his first choice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">And I give &amp; bequeath to my Son\u00a0<strong>CALEB GRANDY<\/strong>\u00a0all my crockery ware &amp; one half of my sithye(?), and one half of my poultry, and one dutch oven &amp; one frying pan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">I do acknowledge this to be my Last Will in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this the thirteeth day of November 1821.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><strong>LYDIA GRANDY<\/strong>\u00a0seal<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Her x mark<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Signed in presence of us<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">ELAS WILLIAMS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">PEGGY WILLIAMS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Her x mark<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">And I\u00a0<strong>LYDIA GRANDY<\/strong>\u00a0do leave my Son\u00a0<strong>CALEB GRANDY<\/strong>\u00a0to be Executor to my will.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Camden County Court<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">November Term 1822<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">The foregoing was exhibited in open Court &amp; proved as the Last Will and Testament of\u00a0<strong>LYDIA GRANDY\u00a0<\/strong>by the oath of <strong>PEGGY WILLIAMS<\/strong> a subscribing witness thereto. And at same time <strong>CALEB GRANDY<\/strong> an Executor therein named appeared &amp; qualified as executor thereto. Ordered that Testamentary letters issue &amp; that the same be recorded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Test.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">M.S.
