Carolina, being weak of body but of perfect sound mind and memory thanks be given unto God, and calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die. I do make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament, disannulling all other wills heretofore by me made\u2014which I give and dispose in manner and form as follows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. I give and bequeath unto my dearly Beloved Daughter\u00a0<strong>POLLY\u00a0SAWYER<\/strong>\u00a0that tract of land that I bought JOSEPH NEEDHAM containing about thirty seven acres to her &amp; her heirs lawfully begotten of her body forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved Daughter\u00a0<strong>LYDIA\u00a0WILLIAMS<\/strong>\u00a0that tract of land that I bought of JOHN G. WRIGHT containing about fifty acres to her &amp; her heirs lawfully begotten of her body forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. I lend the use of the land and plantation whereon I now live also a small tract of land that I bought of PRUDENCE OGGS unto my dearly beloved Wife<strong>\u00a0ALAF BURFOOT<\/strong>, also two cows &amp; calves her choice, one mare by the name of Gin, two feather beds &amp; furniture her choice, two linen wheels, one beaufat &amp; crockery in it, once chest, and all the kitchen furniture until death or marriage and at death or marriage as hereafter named, its further my will that my Wife\u00a0<strong>ALAF\u00a0BURFOOT<\/strong>\u00a0should have one sow &amp; piggs, five barrows, choice, also four head of sheep choice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. I give &amp; bequeath unto my dearly beloved Son\u00a0<strong>ROBERT\u00a0BURFOOT<\/strong>, the\u00a0<i>Mill Dam<\/i>\u00a0tract of land containing about fifty acres, one saddle, &amp; sixty dollars in good notes for the purpose of purchasing a horse to him &amp; his heirs lawfully begotten of his body forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. I give &amp; bequeath unto my dearly beloved Son\u00a0<strong>JABEZ\u00a0BURFOOT<\/strong>\u00a0all the land that I now hold on the\u00a0<i>Great Island<\/i>\u00a0to him &amp; his heirs lawfully begotten of his body forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. I give &amp; bequeath unto my dearly beloved Son\u00a0<strong>JOHN\u00a0BURFOOT<\/strong>\u00a0that tract of land in\u00a0<i>Sandy Hook<\/i>\u00a0containing sixty acres to him &amp; his heirs lawfully begotten of his body forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. Its further my will that my two dearly beloved Sons\u00a0<strong>WILLIS\u00a0BURFOOT<\/strong>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<strong>WILLIAM BURFOOT<\/strong>\u00a0at my Wife\u2019s death or marriage should have the plantation I now live on also a small tract I bought of PRUDENCE OGGS equally divided between them to them and their heirs lawfully begotten of their body forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item. Its further my will that the house and lot down the river should sold on a credit of twelve months also negro Jupiter &amp; negro Robert should be sold on the above named credit, and the residue of my estate consisting of stock and house hould furniture etc. should be sold in a credit of six months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Item.
