Hughes Company of\u00a0 32 NC\u00a0 Inf. on May 30th, 1861.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: medium\">A book at the Wilmington NC Library had either\u00a0 John or Samuel also dying as a POW in NY.\u00a0 Some where in my cleaning out\u00a0 of company files, I lost my copy of the page in the 32 Reg&#8217;t book.\u00a0 The\u00a0 website of the Union Camp had the last name listed as dying.\u00a0I have\u00a0 microfilm copies for the rest of the above data.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><strong>Contributed by Bob Jones<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John Whitehurst, born in Camden Co. and\u00a0enlisted at age of 35 at South Mills to Capt.
