Miss Mary Whaley<\/b>———Miss Mary Ann Whaley 67, of Camden, died Sunday at 10:30 a. m.\u00a0 at the Albemarle Hospital following a sudden illness.\u00a0 She was a native\u00a0 and lifetime resident\u00a0 of Camden County and a member of\u00a0 Sawyers Creek Baptist\u00a0 Church.\u00a0 She was the daughter of\u00a0 the late\u00a0 Dennis\u00a0 and Lina Sawyer Whaley. She survived by one sister Miss Addie Whaley of Camden and two brothers, Charles W. Whaley and Mack S. Whaley of Elizabeth City.\u00a0 A\u00a0\u00a0 funeral service was conducted this afternoon at 2:00 in the chapel of the Berry Funeral Home by the Rev. Rufus Corbitt, pastor of Sawyers Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery. —–April 22, 1969<\/p>\n
