In the Name of God Amen I NOAH COBB of the County of Caswell and State of
North Carolina being weak in body but of Sound and perfect memory
thanks be to god for it and calling to mind the uncertainty of this
transitory life and the Certainty of Death I do make constitute
Ordain and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and
form following first after paying all my Just debts I do give and
bequeath to my beloved Wife ELIZABETH COBB my land whereon I now live my
Stock of all Kinds Plantation tools Household and Kitchen furniture
and every thing that I am now possessed of during her natural life
and at her decease my will is for her to dispose of the following
articles as she shall think proper (to wit) her Mare and Saddle
Known by the name of Pate with the Household and Kitchen furniture,
the land with the rest of the Property remaining at her decease to be
divided in the following manner (to wit) I give and bequeath to my four
eldest sons named SAMUEL COBB, JAMES COBB, WILLIAM COBB and HENRY
COBB ten Shillings each - Item I give and bequeath to my son
EBENEZER COBB forty acres of land to
begin at the South side of the old field adjoining WILLIAM COBB and run
with his line so as to take in his House and Plantation for
Compliment the overplus of land with the remaining Part of the
property to be equally divided between ELLINOR COBB, NANCY PAGE,
LEVI COBB, Matthew Cobb [MATTHEW COBB] & NOAH COBB share and share
alike except NANCY PAGE she is only to have her part of the land and
not of the moveable property.
And now to ratify this my last Will and Testament I do appoint HENRY COBB
and LEVI COBB my whole and sole Executors after the death of my
beloved Wife In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this 20th day of February in the year of our lord 1808

Ordered by the Testator for LEVI COBB to have his part of the land laid
off so as to include the House he is about to build or to be paid
for his improvement at the Death of his Mother.

The Execution of this Will with the Codicil Thereunto annexed was duly
Proved in Open Court by the Oath of JOHN COBB one of the subscribing
witnesses thereunto and in motion ordered to be recorded.
