Reported present or accounted for through December 31. 1862. Sent to hospital at Richmond, Virginia, February 25, 1863. Returned to duty in September-October, 1863. Captured at Rappahannock Station, Virginia, Novemberr 7, 1863. Sent to Washington, D.C. Confined at Point Lookout, Maryland, November 11, 1863. Paroled at Point Lookout on March 16, 1864. Received at City Point, Virginia, March 20, 1864, for exchange. Returned to duty subsequent to April 30, 1864. Reported on detail as a teamster from November 9, 1864, through February 28, 1865.
