Erica Denise LANE was born on 9 September 1995 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 29 April 2005 at the age of 9 in Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. She was buried in Fairview (Houck's Chapel) Cemetery, Hickory, North Carolina. ERICA D. LANE
HICKORY - Erica Denise Lane, 9, of Hickory, died April 29, 2005, at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 9, 1995, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Scott and Robin Hollar Lane.
“A Special Angel on loan from God,” she was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include a sister, Chrystine Lane of the home; maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Abbie Kay Hollar of Hickory; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Leona Lane of Hickory; an aunt, Charity Hollar of Winston-Salem; and a number of cousins, aunts and uncles.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Greg Williams at 1 p.m. Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 tonight, Sunday evening, at Bass-Smith Funeral Home.
