2329. Jessie Irene COOK was born on 22 June 1918 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 29 May 2005 at the age of 86 in Pallative Care & Hospice of Catawba Valley, Newton, North Carolina. She was buried in Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. Her obituary appeared as follows: Nellie Coleman Bolick, 87, of Hickory passed away Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born October 25, 1916 in Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Vera Adams Coleman. She retired from Hickory Dye and Winding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hazel Bolick, an infant daughter, Geraldine Bolick, and three sisters, Frances Hooper, Mary Stall, and Joyce Franks. Survivors include: Sons and Daughter-in-law: Ronnie and Marie Bolick of Hickory, Jackie Bolick of Hickory; 5 Grandchildren: Rusty Bolick, Jan Bolick, Hayley Frisch, Joey Bolick, Dwayne Bolick 7 Great Grandchildren; The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2004 at Drum Funeral Home Chapel in Conover. Rev. Larry Cooley will officiate and burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hickory. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. on Friday at Drum Funeral Home.
