3347. Adrian Lafayette STINE was born on 2 December 1911 in Catawba County, North Carolina. He died on 16 September 1981 at the age of 69 in Alexander County, North Carolina.

Adrian Lafayette STINE and Inez SIPE were married. Inez SIPE, daughter of Charles Monroe SIPE and Agnes Naomi HONEYCUTT, was born on 8 October 1918 in Alexander County, North Carolina. She died on 16 January 2012 at the age of 93 in Lutheran Home West, Hickory, North Carolina. She was buried in Shiloh Lutheran Cemetery, Alexander County, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY Inez Sipe Stine, 93, of Hickory, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012 at Lutheran Home Hickory West. Born Oct. 8, 1918, in Alexander County she was the daughter of the late Charlie Monroe Sipe and Agnes Naomi Honeycutt Sipe. Mrs. Stine was previously employed in sales in the furniture industry and was a lifelong member of Shiloh Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian L. Stine; sister, Thelma Childers; and brother, Loy Sipe. Mrs. Stine is survived by her brother, Wayne Sipe and his wife, Ann of Bethlehem; nephews and godsons, Charles Sipe and John Sipe; and numerous other nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Bethlehem with the Rev. Paul Birkedal officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Wayne and Ann Sipe, 315 Havenhurst Rd., Hickory, NC. Memorials may be given to Shiloh Lutheran Church, 1011 Shiloh Church Rd., Hickory, NC 28601 or Lutheran Home Hickory West, 1125 10th Street, NW, Hickory, NC 28601. Pallbearers to honor Mrs. Stine will be Charles Sipe, John Sipe, Charlie Sipe, Tony Childers, David Childers and Charlie Coulter.
