Frederick Garland [Frye] "Freddie" FRY was born on 9 September 1890 in Catawba County, North Carolina.^501,701,844 In 1910 he was an a mechanic in a furniture shop.⁵⁰¹ He lived with parents in Hickory Tavern Twp., Catawba County, North Carolina in 1910.⁵⁰¹ Freddie died on 1 January 1952 at the age of 61 in Catawba County, North Carolina and was buried in Miller's and St. Stephen's Lutheran Church Cemetery.⁸⁴⁴

Frederick Garland [Frye] "Freddie" FRY and Mamie Guyella [Frye] FRY were married estimated 1912. Mamie Guyella [Frye] FRY was born on 22 April 1891.⁸⁴⁴ She died on 29 November 1974 at the age of 83 in Catawba County, North Carolina and was buried in Miller's and St. Stephen's Lutheran Church Cemetery.⁸⁴⁴

Annie Genette [Frye] FRY was born on 22 September 1920 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 25 September 2007 at the age of 87 in Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Conover, NC. She was buried in Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. Her obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY - Annie Genette Frye, 87, of Hickory, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Conover Nursing Center after a period of declining health. Annie was born Sept. 22, 1920, in Catawba County to the late Freddie Garland Frye Jr. and Mamie Guyella Gilbert Frye. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Irie Loo Frye, Carl Lee Frye and Raymond Freddie Frye Sr., and two sisters, Linda Frye Bowman and Mamie Irene Frye. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Ray Frye Sr. and wife, Patricia, of Hickory; a daughter, Bonnie Frye Spiva and husband, Larry, of Newton; her grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Frye Jr. and wife, Tina, of Conover, Kevin Dean Spiva and wife, Amy, of Maiden, Vicky Denise Spiva of Newton and Lisa Jeanette Frye of Hickory; and three great-grandchildren, Bryan Kristopher Frye of Hickory and Katelyn Abigail and Noah Dean Spiva, both of Maiden. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at Augustana Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Williard Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in Catawba Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Raymond Freddie Frye Jr., Kevin Spiva and Jimmy Frye Jr. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight, Thursday, at Bass-Smith Funeral Home in Hickory.
