Troy Henry Lail, 85, of 1915 Thomasville Road, Conover, NC died Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at the Brian Center.
Born January 4, 1917 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Henry George and Lula Sipe Lail.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and was retired from Hickory Chair.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jo Lail and a sister, Eva Propst.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. The Revs. James Zimmerman, Harold Drum and Kristine Hill will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, March 27, 2002 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM.

She died on 11 January 2004 at the age of 81 in Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Conover, NC. She was buried in Mount Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Conover, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: CONOVER - Gracie Sipe Lail, 81, of Conover, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at Conover Nursing Center. Born Sept. 5, 1922, in Iredell County, she was a daughter of the late Wilburn and Katie Hawn Sipe. She retired from Carolina Glove in Conover and was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Conover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Henry Lail; a daughter, Betty Joe Lail; two sisters, Allie Farr and Nadine Sipe; and two brothers, Gwen and Melvin Sipe.
