Clarence Melvin BOLICK and Rosalee HEDRICK were married estimated 1933. Rosalee HEDRICK, daughter of Tate Esley HEDRICK and Barbara CANUPP, was born on 13 September 1914 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 28 December 2003 at the age of 89 in Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina. She was buried in St. John's Lutheran Church (MO Synod) Cemetery, Conover, Catawba County, NC. Her obituary appeared as follows: ROSALEE H. BOLICK CLAREMONT - Rosalee Hedrick Bolick, 89, of Country Manor Rest Home, formerly of 4972 Oak Shade St., Claremont, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born Sept. 13, 1914, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Tate and Barbara Canupp Hedrick. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Melvin Bolick; three stepchildren, Albert Melvin Bolick, Elnor Elizabeth Bolick and Dewey Bolick; four sisters, Mattie Rose Shook, Winnie Huffman, Anna Lee Little and Ginny Shook; and three brothers, Leonard Hedrick, John Hedrick and Ceb Hedrick. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene "Gene" and Barbara Bolick of Claremont; three grandchildren, Michael E. Bolick, Sheila D. Bolick and Jeffrey A. Bolick; four great-grandchildren, Michael Elijah Bolick, Nicholas Bolick, Johnny A. Kinsman and Clifford M. Kinsman; a sister, Medlene Summers of Reidsville; and a brother, Esley Tate Hedrick of Catawba. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery. The Rev. Anton Lagoutine will officiate. Pallbearers will be Michael E. Bolick, Jeffrey A. Bolick, Johnny Kinsman, Michael Elijah Bolick, Chuck Spake and Eugene Flemings. The family will receive friends at Drum Funeral Home and Cremations in Conover today, Tuesday, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 2126 St. John's Church Road, Conover, N.C. 28613.
