Alda Catherine TRAVIS, daughter of Noah Pinkney TRAVIS and Manerva "Nerva" MATHAS, was born on 15 June 1910 in Catawba County, North Carolina.^2651,2652 She appeared in the census in 1910.²⁶⁵² She died on 26 January 1983 at the age of 72 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁶⁵¹ Alda was buried in Fairview (Houck's Chapel) Cemetery, Hickory, North Carolina.²⁶⁵¹
