4684. Barbara Ann SETZER was born on 5 April 1938 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁸⁹⁸ She died on 29 July 2008 at the age of 70 in Stony Creek, Virginia. Her obituary appeared as follows: STONY CREEK, Va. - Barbara Setzer Hines, 70, of Stony Creek, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Born in Catawba County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Smith Robinson and Mae Yount Setzer. She was a dedicated office manager with Smith Setzer & Sons for more than 40 years. She was a member of Fort Grove United Methodist Church and Stony Creek Chapter 126 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife of 53 years to Bobby Dean Hines, and a loving mother to Karen Hines of Stony Creek and Bob Hines Jr. and wife, Christine, of Colonial Heights. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Lindsey, Eric, Brandon, Hunter, Carson and Roger; sister, Betty Storey of Maiden, N.C.; and brothers, Neil Setzer and Jerry Setzer, both of Catawba, N.C. The funeral service, led by the Rev. Dan Armstrong and OES funeral, was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
