In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Constance Elaine Bowman; a son, Larry Eugene Bowman; a sister, Dorothy Fox; and three brothers, Escer Bowman, Grayden Bowman and Arlie "Shine" Bowman. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie B. Chapman and husband, Nick, of Hickory; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim M. Bowman and wife, Kay, of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Nicole Bowman, Heather Bowman and Fawn Bowman; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Fleta Preslar and husband, Kern, of Bethlehem, Joyce Deal, Evelyn Teague and Lucille Gant and husband, Fred, of Taylorsville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Bowman and wife, Elaine, Edward Bowman and wife, Brenda, Rayford Bowman of Taylorsville, and Evelyn Bowman of Hickory; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover. The Rev. Craig Saltzer will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. today at Drum Funeral Home.
