Marion Cecil HEFNER (BUFF) and Dr. Conrad Bowers FRITZ had the following children:

5727	ii.	Jeanne FRITZ was born on 30 June 1944 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 8 August 2009 at the age of 65 in Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. Her obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY - Jeanne Fritz Benfield, 65, passed away Aug. 8, 2009, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Benfield was born in Catawba County on June 30, 1944, to the late Dr. Conrad and Marion Buff Fritz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Conrad Fritz II. Mrs. Benfield was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was employed by Piedmont OBGYN. She was an avid horse enthusiast, a true animal lover and a good friend to all. She is survived by her husband, Barry G. Benfield Sr. of the home; a son, James Crowe III of Hickory; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Robert Semple of Nebo; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Barry Grant Benfield Jr. and Cindy of Lenoir; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kim Davis and Mitch of Gainsville, Ga.; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Fritz of Hickory; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Toby Leonhardt of Nashville, Tenn.; three sisters-in-law and their husbands, Stephanie and Charlie Raby of Hudson, Pam and Steve Steel of Granite Falls and Myra and the Rev. John Grove of Weeki Wachee, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Pat Fritz of Hickory; and six grandsons. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at Bethel United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Roger Sailors and Zella Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m., prior to the service, at the church. Memorials may be to the N.C. Chapter of Lou Gehrig's Disease, 1301 N.
