3038. Fleta ANDERSON was born on 1 June 1930 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 2 August 2006 at the age of 76 in Vale, Lincoln County, North Carolina. She was buried in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Bandys Twp., Catawba County, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: VALE - Fleta Anderson Harris Wilson, 76, of Zur Leonard Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at her residence. Born June 1, 1930, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late John and Carrie Miller Anderson. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, retired from Catawba County Schools and had previously worked at Kaiser-Roth Hosiery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild; and a brother, Albert Anderson. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Charles C. Wilson of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Alma Harris Beck and husband, Roy, of Lenoir; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kathy Wilson and husband, Gary Godfrey, of Fayetteville; a sister, Frances Abernethy of Newton; a brother, Hubert Anderson of Vale; two stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at Corinth Baptist Church. The Revs. William Kanupp and Michael Greene will officiate. There will be a private burial at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
