Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lou and Wesley Roark and their children, Victoria and Shiann; a daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Timothy Roark and their children, Isaiah and Jacob; a brother, Billy Jean Huffman; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Lloyd Pennell and their children, Butch Pennell and daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Bobby Hopson and their daughter, Ashtyn Hopson all of Hickory; and all her brothers and sisters in Christ at Sweetwater Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. at Sweetwater Baptist Church today, Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, followed by a memorial service conducted by Pastor Ron Johnson at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests any gifts or donations be made to Sweetwater Baptist Church, 609 Twenty-first St., SE, Hickory, N.C. 28602.
