He was born in Alexander County, June 17, 1929 son of the late David Lee and Desola Teague Fox. He was a retired farmer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his wife Carrie Oxentine Fox of the home; two sons Dean Fox and wife Linda and Joey Fox all of Taylorsville, a sister Geneva Bowman of Taylorsville; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 pm Wednesday, December 13, 2011 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Wes Hammer will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Adams Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at a later date.
