She died on 31 August 2010 at the age of 80 in Greenville, Pitt, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: GREENVILLE - Mrs. Rebecca Bolick "Becky" Stine, 80, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at 10 a.m. in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Stine, a native of Catawba County, graduated from St. Stephens High School in Hickory in 1948. She attended Lenoir-Rhyne College and graduated with a RN degree from Watts Hospital School of Nursing in Durham in 1952. She had made her home in Ahoskie and Raleigh, and had been a resident of Greenville since 1960. For 20 years, she was employed with the American Red Cross Blood Services, retiring in 1993. She was a charter member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she served in numerous capacities over many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. Stine, in 1996, and a brother, Jack Edward Bolick. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Lee Stine Werdal, of Greenville; son, Ernest Franklin Stine Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren, J. Michael Werdal, of Greenville, Brad, Scott and Jenny Burgett, all of Knoxville, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren, Adam and Sophie Burgett; brother, Thomas Loy Bolick and wife, Gay, of Concord; and sister, Ruth Bolick McCormick. The family will receive friends today, Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1801 S.
