5542. Nancy Rose COULTER was born on 1 April 1930 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 26 February 2009 at the age of 78 in Abernethy Laurels, Newton, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: CONOVER - Nancy Rose Coulter Jarrett Cline, 78, of Fifth Street in Conover, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at Abernethy Laurels. Born April 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Sr. and Evelyn Jeannette Bost Coulter. She was a former bookkeeper with several heating and air companies. A daughter, Jeanne, and her husband, Michael Scronce, of Camden, S.C.; a son, Bob, and his wife, Jeanne Jarrett, of Conover; a son, Jason Cline and his wife, Ellen Fitshe, of Germany; two sisters, Martha C. and her husband, Charles Witherspoon, of Hickory and Sylvia and her husband, John Gallimore, of Charlotte; a sister-in-law, Lucille Jarrett Yeager of Newton; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren survive her. Her first husband, Wayne Eugene Jarrett; her second husband, P. Rowe Cline; a daughter, Janet Leigh Jarrett; and a brother, John Henry Coulter Jr., preceded her in death. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at St. Paul's Reformed Church, with the Rev. Dr. Steve Disher officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Reformed Church, Restoration Fund, 3562 Startown Road, Newton, N.C. 28658. Wayne Eugene JARRETT was born on 30 March 1924 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁹⁴⁸ He died on 8 March 1969 at the age of 44 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁹⁴⁸ He was buried in St. Paul's Memorial Park, Newton, North Carolina.²⁹⁴⁸ Wayne served in the military (North Carolina - PFC - U.S. Marine Corps - World War II).²⁹⁴⁸

Nancy Rose COULTER and Phillip Rowe CLINE were married on 19 April 1970 in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina. They were divorced on 22 November 1975. Phillip Rowe CLINE, son of Phillip Pinkney CLINE and Cora May RADER, was born on 20 August 1920 in Catawba County, North Carolina. He died on 8 December 2001 at the age of 81 in Brian Center, Viewmont, Catawba County, North Carolina. He served in the military in the US Army in World War II.
