George Emory LAFONE, son of Perry Lee LAFONE and Hester Estelle KAYLOR, was born on 21 July 1914 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²¹⁸⁰ He died on 6 December 2008 at the age of 94 in Valley Nursing Center, Taylorsville, North Carolina. He was buried in St. John's Lutheran Church (MO Synod) Cemetery, Conover, Catawba County, NC.
