Charles Ray BOLICK was born on 13 February 1934 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁶⁰⁷ He died on 31 October 2012 at the age of 78 in Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina. He was buried in St. Timothy Lutheran Church Cemetery near Conover, Catawba County, NC. His obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY Charles Ray Bolick, 78, passed away Oct. 31, 2012, at Catawba Regional Hospice after a period of declining health. Charles was born Feb. 13, 1934, in Catawba Co., to the late Henry A and Daisy Hedrick Bolick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Bolick; a brother, Jack Bolick; and a granddaughter, Dara Nicole Parker. He was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, retired from Northwest Drywall, was a United States Army veteran and a charter member of the St. Timothy Fire Dept. Surviving are his daughter, Melissa B. Parker and husband, Vince, of Claremont; sons, Tim Bolick and wife, Debbie, of Hickory, Mark Bolick and wife, Kim, of Conover and Todd Bolick of Clermont, Fla.; grandchildren, Brandy Bolick, of Raleigh, Megan Bolick, of Hickory, and Austin Parker, of Claremont. The services will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roger L. Beaver officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 2, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Hickory Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church, P.O.
