Ernest Lloyd LAIL and Doreen MATTHEWS had the following children:

6090	ii.	Lloyd Alan "Nookie" LAIL was born on 2 November 1948 in Catawba County, North Carolina. He died on 14 August 2010 at the age of 61 in Catawba County, North Carolina. His obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY Lloyd Alan "Nookie" Lail, 61, of Hickory, formerly of Spencer Road N.E. was known as the man on the bike who waved at all passersby. He passed away on Saturday August 14, 2010 at Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley following a period of declining health. Alan was born on November 2, 1948 in Catawba County to the late Ernest Lloyd and Doreen Matthews Lail. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Gary Lail. Alan was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Survivors include a brother: Michael Dean Lail of Maiden and a sister Frances Lail Thompson of Hickory and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday August 16, 2010 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Missouri Synod with the Reverend David Guelzow and Reverend David Ziehr officiating.
