CONOVER — Willadean E. Reynolds, 69, of Memphis, Tenn., died June 24, 2003, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Feb. 21, 1934, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence V. and Claudia Bollinger Eckard.

She was an active member of Bartlett Woods Church of Christ in Memphis and retired as a secretary and past receipt auditor in admissions of Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Edward C. Reynolds; a sister, Edith Eckard Eckard; and a brother, Osborne R. Eckard Sr.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Jeff Needham of Memphis, Jane and Wayne Bost of Austin, Texas, and Mary and Bobby Price of Memphis; six grandchildren, Kathryn and Brent Needham of Memphis, Corey, Allie, Beth and William Bost of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Ruth E. Lail of Conover, Dorothy E. Hollar of Conover and Nellie E. Abernethy of Conover; and many friends.

She will be greatly missed.

The family received friends Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at Memory Hill Gardens from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, June 26, 2003, at Memory Hill Gardens.

Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 500 E. Morehead St., Charlotte, N.C. 28202.
