6599. Diane SIGMON was born on 25 April 1953 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 26 October 2011 at the age of 58 in Pallative Care & Hospice of Catawba Valley, Newton, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: Diane Sigmon White, 53, of Conover passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Diane was born April 25, 1958 in Catawba County to Carolyn Joan “Jo” Drum Sigmon of Conover and the late Floyd Eugene Sigmon. She was of the Lutheran faith and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her mother, Diane is survived by her husband of 25 years, Buford E. White of the home; sons, Michael White of Conover, David Perhealth of Maiden; daughters, Angela Punch of Conover, Crystal Overcash of Salisbury; and brothers, Lonnie Sigmon of Claremont, Bill Sigmon of Catawba, and Danny Sigmon of Taylorsville; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October, 29, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Hickory Church of Christ. Mr. Jerry Burton will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Memorials may be made to Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658. The White family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.
