3365. Edith Louise FLOWERS was born on 28 February 1921 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died on 19 March 2012 at the age of 91 in Bandera Care Facility, Bandara, Texas. Her obituary appeared as follows: KERRVILLE, Texas Edith Louise Flowers Griggs, 91, of Bandera, passed away in Bandera, Texas Monday, March 19, 2012 at a local Bandera Care Facility. Louise was born Feb. 28, 1921 to Charles Lester Flowers and Eva Luada Mowery Flowers. On Nov. 12, 1946, Louise and Theodore Franklin Griggs were married in Hickory. Louise has been a resident of Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Bandera (Texas) for the past 30 years. She served proudly in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eva Flowers; husband, Theodore; and her daughter, Cheryl Louise Griggs Watson. Louise is survived by her son, Darrell F. (Judy) Griggs of Spartanburg, S.C.; a beloved son-In-Law, Anthony (Marilyn) Watson of Medina, Texas; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. An Inurnment service will be held today, Friday, March 23, at 9 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
