Parents: Noah Yount and Elizabeth (Herman) Yount. A younger brother was the Reverend J. Alonzo Yount.

Rev. Adolphus Leroy YOUNT and Leah Ellen "Lillie" HENKEL were married before 1873. Leah Ellen "Lillie" HENKEL, daughter of David Melanchthon HENKEL and Heleah Anna Maria HENKEL, was born on 27 November 1854.³⁴ She died in February 1944 at the age of 89.³⁴
