David Stanley CROUCH was born on 8 July 1947 in Catawba County, North Carolina. He died on 28 September 2008 at the age of 61 in Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina. His obituary appeared as follows: NEWTON - David Stanley Crouch, 61, of Newton, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at his residence. Born July 8, 1947, in Catawba County, he was the son of the late James Stanley and Mary Willis Saunders Crouch. He was a systems administrator with Vermont American Tool Group in Lincolnton and member of Conover Lions Club. Survivors include an aunt, Edith Jones Saunders of Newton; cousins, Johnny C. Saunders and James H. Saunders of Newton; and his best friend, Jeff Ervin of Catawba. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. The Rev. James Luck Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Grace Reformed United Church of Christ, 117 E. J.
