5304. Martha Ray ROSEMAN was born on 21 April 1925 in Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina.1224 She died on 27 October 2012 at the age of 87 in Catawba County, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: Martha Roseman Hunt Bolick, beloved wife of Jimmie Bolick, went home to her Savior on Saturday, October 27. She was born in Hickory, NC, on April 21, 1925 to Floyd and Alma Roseman. She graduated from Hickory High School and worked as an office nurse for Dr. William Clarke for 37 years before retiring. Martha was active in her church, Christ Lutheran, Hickory, NC, serving as president of the congregation, as an elder, and on various committees. She is a former president of the Carolinas District Lutheran Women's Missionary League and a past board member of the national LWML. She also served as a counselor for many years for the Trainable Mentally Handicapped Week at Camp Linn Haven, Linville, NC, and was a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Southeastern District Board of Directors for a number of years. She was an active volunteer in her community by serving on the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry executive committee, the Exodus Outreach Ministry and as president of the Highland Neighborhood Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Robert Roseman and Richard Roseman and her sister Margie Ruth Roseman. She is survived by her sister Libby Fulbright, her sisters-in-law, Lorene Roseman, Rachel Hunt, Gayenell Smyre and her husband Joe, Connie Keisler and her husband Fred, Betty Hunt; and by a number of nieces and nephews. Martha was married to Glenn Harvey Hunt for 48 years until his death in 1993, and they were blessed with four children, Martha Burke and her husband Bob, Jim Hunt and his wife Lois, Anna Lail and her husband Tony, and Phillip Hunt and his wife Joy. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, Kristin Leahy and her husband Jeff, Christopher Burke, Joshua Lail and his wife Crystal, and Katie Fulbright and her husband Bobby. She is survived by three great-grandchildren, Aidan, Addison, and Alec Leahy. In 2000 she married Jimmie Bolick, who survives. Her family also includes Danny and Judy Bolick and LeeAnn and Jeff Ward and their children, Nathan and Tate Bolick and Mary Caroline and Julianne Ward. Funeral services will be conducted at Christ Lutheran Church on Tuesday, October 30 at 11:00 am. Services will be conducted by Pastor Richard Schwandt and Dr. David Ludwig. Visitation will be held Monday, October 29, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church. The family requests that memorials be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 324 Second Ave. SE, Hickory, N. C. 28602. These memorials will be used to refurbish the church chimes and for the upkeep of the church's cabin at Camp Linn Haven. The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the entire staff at the Brian Center – Viewmont for their loving care and to Hospice of Catawba County. Martha was a loving wife, mother, "Mimi", a caring friend to many, and a servant of her Lord Jesus Christ. We have all been truly blessed.
