Kenneth Dale HILDEBRAND, son of Troy William HILDEBRAND and Sadie Ruth BERRY, was born on 21 July 1954 in Catawba County, North Carolina. He died on 21 August 2005 at the age of 51 in Valdese General Hospital, Rutherford College, Burke County, NC. He was buried in Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. His obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY - Kenneth Dale Hildebrand, 51, of Hickory, died Aug. 21, 2005, at Valdese Hospital. Born July 21, 1954, in Catawba County, he was a son of the late Troy William and Sadie Ruth Berry Hildebrand. A member of East Hickory Baptist Church, he served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Hildebrand was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hildebrand. Survivors include a sister, Lois Elaine Hildebrand of Hickory; two nieces, Lisa Hildebrand of Lincolnton and Janet Turner of Gainesville, Ga.; a nephew, John Hildebrand of Hickory; and two great-nieces, Marta Shae Capps of Gainesville and Michaela Hildebrand of Lincolnton. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. John Marcus Reynolds at 11 a.m. Thursday at East Hickory Baptist Church. Burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will be at the church from 7 to 9 tonight. Memorials may be made to East Hickory Baptist Church, 130 Sixteenth St., SE, Hickory, N.C. 28602.
