Avery Eugene SETZER⁹⁵² was born on 19 July 1895 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁴⁶⁹ In 1910 he was an a farm aborer on his father's farm in Catawba Township, Catawba County, North Carolina.¹⁵²⁹ He died on 24 August 1972 at the age of 77 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁴⁷⁰ Avery was buried in Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery, Claremont, NC.
