Her obituary appeared as follows: CATAWBA - Lucille Setzer, 82, of East Bandys Crossroads, Catawba, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005, at Conover Nursing and Rehab Center in Conover. Born Sept. 7, 1922, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Jacob Setzer and Lucy Deal Setzer. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church in Catawba. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Fred, Ralph, Glenn, Joe and Seth Setzer. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Setzer and Trilby Setzer of Catawba; two nephews, Danny Setzer of Sherrills Ford and David Setzer of Catawba; six nieces, Kathy Mize and Jane Benfield of Catawba, Amy Huffman of Newton and Glenda Williams, Gaye Morrison and Gelene Saunders of Claremont; and special friend, Willard Elmore of Catawba. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 6, 2005, at 3 p.m. at Center United Methodist Church in Catawba, with the Rev. Paula Northrupp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
