Bertie Bell CLINE and Clyde Elmore HOLLAR had the following children:

Hal Cline HOLLAR was born on 21 August 1933 in Catawba County, North Carolina.¹²²⁴ He died on 13 July 2004 at the age of 70 in Pallative Care & Hospice of Catawba Valley, Newton, North Carolina. HAL C. HOLLAR HICKORY - Hal Cline Hollar, 70, died July 13, 2004, at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born Aug. 21, 1933, in Catawba County, he was a son of the late Clyde Elmore Hollar Sr. and Bertie Cline Hollar. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Wayne Hollar. Survivors include his mother, Bertie Cline Hollar; three sons, Howard Cline Hollar of Cary, Richard Todd Hollar of Virginia Beach, Va., and Terry Linn Hollar of Statesville; a daughter, Cindy Hollar Smrzlick of Maiden; two brothers, Bobby Dean Hollar of Hickory and Clyde Elmore Hollar Jr. of Hickory; and five grandchildren. The Celebration of Life service will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church, Conover, on Friday, July 16, 2004, at 10 a.m. with the Revs. John Greig and Donald Oldenburg officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight, July 15, 2004, in The Celebration of Life Room at Catawba Funerals & Cremations. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, N.C. 28658 or a charity of one’s choice.
