Nancy Ann FULBRIGHT, daughter of Odell Loftin FULBRIGHT and Winnie Ruth LEATHERMAN, was born on 21 May 1939. She died on 16 October 2010 at the age of 71 in Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. She was buried in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Bandys Twp., Catawba County, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: VALE - Nancy Ann Fulbright Speagle, 71, of Cat's Square Road, Vale, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born May 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Odell Loftin and Winnie Ruth Leatherman Fulbright. Nancy enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, quilting and canning. Survivors include her husband, Lindsay Herman of the home; a daughter, Connie Speagle Lingerfelt and husband, Jimmy, of Vale; three sons, Mark Wayne Speagle of Butner, Jeffrey Todd Speagle of Sherrills Ford, John Andrew Speagle of New Jersey; five brothers, Larry Fulbright and wife, Judy, of Salisbury, Nelson Fulbright and wife, Sue, of Vale, Jerry Fulbright and wife, Brenda, of Newton, Ronald Fulbright and wife, Martha Jo, of Vale, Dennis Fulbright and wife, Paula, of Newton; numerous nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren, Mindy, Erin, Katy, Stephanie, Matthew, Madison, John Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Samuel and Karlee. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at Corinth Baptist Church in Vale. The Rev. William Kanupp will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society , P.O.
