Born June 23, 1917, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Whetzel "O.W." Bolick Sr. and Bertha Wagner Bolick. Mrs. Reynolds, a graduate of the 1934 Class at Newton-Conover High School, also attended Concordia Lutheran School until the eleventh grade, when she transferred to Newton-Conover High School. To her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was special beyond words. She loved to play bridge and participated in a bridge club. June was a co-owner of and funeral director at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home. She and her husband, Rex Reynolds, established Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home and provided a service to the community for almost 50 years. The same business and tradition of service continues to this day with the ownership and leadership of the Terrys. A member of Beth-Eden Lutheran Church, June was a devout Christian who manifested her love of God through the way she treated others. She loved the Beth-Eden community and was comforted by her church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow "Rex" Reynolds Sr.; a sister, Ruth Bolick Willis; two brothers, O. W. Bolick Jr. and Norman M.
