Patricia Ann CALDWELL, daughter of Dwight Vance CALDWELL and Betty Jo LAWS, was born on 25 April 1954 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She died after a long-fought battle with leukemia on 1 December 2011 at the age of 57 in Pallative Care & Hospice of Catawba Valley, Newton, North Carolina. She was buried in Mt. Anderson Baptist Church Cemetery near Little Mountain, NC. Her obituary appeared as follows: CATAWBA Patricia Ann Caldwell Little, 57, of Catawba, passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at the Palliative Care Unit of Wake Forest Baptist Hospital after a long- fought battle with leukemia. Patricia "Pat" Little was born April 25, 1954, to Dwight V. Caldwell and Betty Jo Caldwell of Maiden. Pat was a graduate of the Bandys High School class of 1972, was employed by Right Angle Electric Co., and was well-received as a longtime supplier of Stanley Home Products. She was preceded in death by her father, Dwight, and is survived by her husband, Dewey E. Little, of the home; mother, Betty Caldwell of Maiden; two sons, Chad Kaylor and wife, Elena, of Maiden and Scott Kaylor and wife, Jennifer, of Maiden; one step-son, Eric Little and wife, Whitney, of Maiden; four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Pat spent the last years of her life surrounded by her family and grandchildren, whom she greatly adored. She will be greatly missed by both family and longtime customers who also were dear friends. The family will receive friends today, Dec. 4, 2011, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Drum Funeral Home in Conover. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at Drum Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matt Rummage officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Anderson Baptist Church Cemetery in Maiden. Memorials may be made to the National Cancer Society and/or the National Leukemia Society.
