3322. Dollie Louise PUNCH was born on 2 January 1915 in Catawba County, North Carolina.^{1488,1900,1901} She died on 31 March 2007 at the age of 92 in Lutheran Home West, Hickory, North Carolina. She was buried in Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. Her obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY - Dollie Louise Punch Yount, a resident of Lutheran Home-West, Hickory, died after a period of declining health Saturday, March 31, 2007. Born Jan. 2, 1915, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Neta Frankie Sigmon and Lawrence Winfield Punch. Mrs. Yount was educated in Catawba County schools and Lenoir-Rhyne College. She was a florist and homemaker. A longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, she was active in the church, was a former Sunday school superintendent, member of Women's Missionary Society and charter member of Hickory Fire Department Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Yount. She was a beloved sister, mother and grandmother. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The Revs. Dr. Robert Shoffner and Brian Ballard will officiate. Burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and at other times the family will be at the residence of her sister, Ruth Barger. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and Richard E. Moser of Hickory; a sister, Ruth P. Barger of Hickory; grandchildren, Richard E. Moser Jr. and wife, Jan, of Flovilla, Ga., and David L. Moser and Susan Moser Hux, both of Hickory; great-grandchildren, Heather N. Moser, Nathan L. Hux and Jeffrey A. Hux of Hickory and Patrick D. and Rabin Moser of Lenoir; and great-great-grandchildren, Kinna and Zachary of Lenoir.
