The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Stephens Lutheran Church-Mo Synod, with the Revs. David Guelzow and David W. Ziehr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was the beloved mother and grandmother of a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Kimberly Sipe of Conover; two grandsons, Kendall M. Sipe and Zachary T. Sipe of Conover; and three sisters, Floy Thornburg and Mary Kanupp of Hickory and Martha Killian of Claremont. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. David Guelzow and David Ziehr at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephens Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery. The family will be at Hickory Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 tonight.
