7252	v.	Dwight Gilbert RINK was born on 16 April 1963 in Catawba County, North Carolina.²⁹⁵¹ He died of suicide on 17 June 2006 at the age of 43 in Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina. This was so terrible, he hung himself from the dogwood tree in his dads yard. He told his mother he didn't know it was going to be so painful to loose his father. [MEH] His obituary appeared as follows: Dwight Gilbert Rink, of Eighteenth Street, NE, Hickory, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 17, 2006, at his residence. Born April 16, 1963, in Catawba County, he was a son of Mildred Adams Rink of Hickory and the late Adrian Rink. He worked for Grasche USA as a supervisor. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Tammy Rink and Darryl Rink of Hickory and Danny and Janet Rink of Taylorsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Cade Huffman of Newton; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Mims at 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church ELCA. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ted Hartness, Mark Hartness, Randy Ballard, Nicholas Huffman, Micah Huffman, Derrick Rink, Wes Davey and Todd Ballard. The family will be at Hickory Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 tonight. Memorials may be made to Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, N.C. 28658.
